As the term ‘append’ suggests, Appended Accreditation of Professionals mean an endorsement of one’s professional capabilities ensured by not self but by a third party agency. Not that without an endorsement, one cannot demonstrate his/her potential or abilities but the qualitative & professional documents once endorsed tell an authentic story. Appended Accreditation testifies that accredited practitioners of the profession are well versed in that knowledge at an advanced level, and must have applied it competently and ethically through practice for several years. As rapidly as the practice of Quality Assurance evolves, professionals continually stay abreast of new developments in their areas of expertise. The growth of certification programs is also a reaction to the changing employment market. Certifications are portable, since they do not depend on one company’s definition of a certain job. Certification stands about the resume and the professional reference by being an impartial, third party endorsement of an individual’s professional knowledge and experience. A professional accreditation is a designation earned by a person to assure that he/she is qualified to perform a job or task. Accreditations, generally, need to be renewed periodically, or may be valid for a specific period of time. As a part of a complete renewal of an individual’s certification, it is common for the individual to show evidence of continual learning – often termed continuing education or some other progress.
